We are proud to tell that we have helped our first family in Moldova, with an electric elevation hospital bed, which we got donated from Elvin Elvin Kim Budich Pedersen in Denmark.
Firstly, our wish was to help a teenage boy who has suffered from a neurological handicap since birth, but while the bed was on the way to Moldova, we heard he was in the hospital and they offered him to get a bed home with him when he left.
We then reached out to Victoria Morozov from the NGO ”The Moldova Project” to hear if they knew someone who was suffering and needed a bed like ours. They knew of a girl in the Cimișlia region.
The girl is in her early 20´s and is suffering from a progressive muscular dystrophy with flaccid-hypotrophic tetraparesis, severe gait and self-care disorders in slowly progressive evolution. A horrible disease who keeps her in bed all day, so a proper bed like ours would be a huge help to her.
Together with Denis from The Moldova Project, we went to install the bed at her house yesterday. Alexandru from our team showed the family members and Vera how to safely use the bed, how it easiest can be moved around the room and how the elevation remote control worked.

In the beginning they were a little nervous and skeptic about the bed, but the smiles came out after Vera tried all the different elevation functions and they saw how much easier it will be during the daily routines with these functions as a helping hand.
After spending time with the family, we know this was the right family to help. Here our donation will make a big impact and make life easier for them. So, we are very happy to have been able to help this family.

We want to thank all who made this possible. Without the kindness and donations from you all this will not be possible.
